WebP to PNG
ImageDrop WebP images and get PNGs back, transparency kept — converted on your device.
A picture saved from a website is usually a WebP now, and plenty of programs still will not open one: older image editors, some upload forms, slide software, print services. PNG opens everywhere. Drop the WebP files in and they come back as PNGs — the output is already set to PNG here, where the converter's own default is WebP.
PNG is the right choice when the WebP has a see-through background — a logo, an icon, a sticker — because PNG keeps transparency exactly, where a JPG would fill it with white. The PNG is saved without loss, so nothing more is taken from the picture, though it will usually be a larger file than the WebP. An animated WebP becomes a single still: its first frame.

Frequently asked questions
Does it keep the transparent background?
Yes. PNG keeps transparency exactly, so a logo or an icon with a see-through background stays see-through. That is the reason to choose PNG over JPG for these.
Will the PNG be larger than the WebP?
Usually, yes: WebP is built to be small, and PNG saves every pixel exactly. The PNG gains compatibility, not quality — it cannot be better than the WebP it came from.
What happens to an animated WebP?
It becomes a still PNG of its first frame. A PNG cannot hold animation; for that you would need a GIF or a video.
Can I convert several WebP files at once?
Yes. Drop them together and they are converted in one go and downloaded as a zip. Free use has a cap on how many files go into one batch; Pro removes it.
Are my images uploaded?
No. They are read and converted in your own browser, and saved straight to your device.
