Video Logo Remover

Video

Take a logo, text or watermark out of a video — see-through marks are undone from the video itself, the rest filled in by an AI model on your device.

Loading tool…

Video Logo Remover takes a logo, a line of text or a watermark out of a video, on your own device. Drag a box over what should go — or let it look for anything that never moves and any text on screen — and set when each one is on screen, for a caption that comes and goes. A see-through watermark is undone from the video itself: because it sits still while the picture moves, the tool works out its colour and how see-through it is, and gives back the real picture underneath, not a guess. A solid logo hides what is behind it, so that part is filled in by an AI model that paints what most likely belongs there — invisible on sky, walls and grass, easier to spot over faces and fine detail. Where the background holds still, one fill is kept from frame to frame, so it does not shimmer. The sound is copied untouched, and the video is never uploaded. Use it on your own footage, or footage you have the rights to.

Frequently asked questions

Is my video uploaded?

No. Every frame is read, cleaned and written again in your browser. What is downloaded is the fill-in model, 28 MB from Alvseike, the first time it is needed — and your browser keeps it.

Does it really bring back what is under a watermark?

For a see-through watermark, yes: it stays still while the picture under it moves, so its colour and how see-through it is can be worked out from the video itself, and the blend undone. What you see is the real picture. The camera has to move, or the scene change, for this to work — over a perfectly still shot there is nothing to compare, and the tool fills in instead and says so.

What about a solid logo?

Nothing of the picture survives under a solid logo, so that part is filled in by an AI model (MI-GAN) that paints what most likely belongs there. Over sky, walls, grass or a dark corner it is hard to spot; over a face or fine detail it can show. Preview a frame before cleaning the whole video.

Can it remove text that only appears for a few seconds?

Yes. Each box has its own time on screen — set where it starts and ends, or let Find logos and text read the frames and suggest the times. Outside that time the picture is left exactly as it was.

Can it remove something that moves, like a person or a logo on a shirt?

Not yet. It removes things that stay in one place on the screen: logos, channel marks, watermarks, captions, phone numbers.

How long can the video be?

Up to 30 seconds free, as one of your daily runs. Longer videos are part of Pro — or trim the video to 30 seconds in the Video Editor first, which is free.

May I remove a watermark from any video?

Only from footage you own or have the rights to — your own recordings, or a client's video with their permission. Removing a stock library's or another creator's watermark to use their work is not what this is for, and our terms say so.
