WebP to JPG
ImageDrop WebP images and get JPGs back — converted on your device, several at a time.
WebP is what you get when you save a picture from most websites now, and it is the format plenty of other things still refuse: older photo editors, upload forms that list only JPG and PNG, print kiosks, some email clients. JPG opens everywhere. Drop the WebP files in and they come back as JPGs — the output is already set to JPEG here, where the converter's own default is WebP, the format you are trying to leave.
Two things a JPG cannot do, and what happens to them. It has no transparency, so a WebP with see-through areas gets a white background, and the tool warns you about that before you convert, not after. And it cannot move, so an animated WebP becomes a single still: its first frame. Quality starts at 85%, which is hard to tell from the original; lower it for a smaller file, or switch to a target size and let the tool find the quality that fits.

Frequently asked questions
Will converting WebP to JPG lose quality?
A little, in principle: both are usually lossy, and saving a picture again loses some detail. At the default 85% it is very hard to see. What you should not expect is an improvement — a JPG made from a WebP cannot be better than the WebP was.
What happens to a transparent background?
JPG has no transparency, so see-through areas become white. The tool notices which of your files have them and says so before converting. If you need to keep the transparency, choose PNG as the output instead.
Can it convert an animated WebP?
It gives you the first frame as a still JPG. A JPG cannot hold animation; to keep the movement you would need a GIF or a video instead.
Can I convert several files at once?
Yes. Drop them together and they are converted in one go and downloaded as a zip. Free use has a cap on how many files go into one batch; Pro removes it.
Will the JPG be smaller than the WebP?
Usually not — WebP is the more efficient format, so the same picture as a JPG tends to be larger at the same quality. The size is shown before you download. If you need it under a limit, switch to target size and type the number.
Are my pictures uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser on your own device, so the files never leave it.
