Extract Pages from PDF

PDF

Click the pages you need and save them as one new PDF — the rest stays behind, and nothing is uploaded.

Loading tool…

Often only part of a PDF is needed: the two pages of a report a colleague asked for, the signed page of a contract, one chapter of a manual, a single payslip out of a year's statements. Drop the PDF in, click the pages you want — they are outlined as you pick them — and save them as one new PDF, in the order they are shown. The original is left as it was.

If each page should be a file of its own, choose one PDF each instead and they come as a zip. Pages can be dragged into another order before saving, and several PDFs can be dropped at once to pick pages from all of them. Everything happens in your browser: the document you are taking pages from never leaves your device.

How it works

  1. 1
    Drop your PDF

Every page appears as a picture, in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

  2. 2
    Click the pages you need

Each one is outlined as you pick it. Select all, then click the few to leave out, if that is quicker.

  3. 3
    Extract as one PDF

The pages are saved together as one new PDF, named after the original and the pages taken — or one PDF each, in a zip.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get the pages as one file?

Yes, that is what Extract does here: the pages you pick become one new PDF, in the order they are shown. If you want each page as a file of its own, choose Extract, one PDF each, and they come together in a zip.

How do I pick most of the pages?

Tick Select all, then click the pages to leave out.

Can I change the order of the pages I take?

Yes. Drag them into order — or use the arrows under each page — before you extract; the new PDF follows the order shown.

Does the original PDF change?

No. A new PDF is made from the pages you pick; the file you dropped in is not touched.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. It is read and the new PDF written in your own browser. Picking pages costs nothing; saving counts as one of the day's free runs.
