Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Pictures are opened, laid out and rendered in your browser, and the exported files are made there too. Nothing about the campaign is sent to Alvseike.
What happens to the other sizes when I move something?
In the main size, a change carries over to every size you have not arranged by hand. In any other size, a change applies to that size only, and stays until you reset it. Text, pictures and colours are always shared, so changing a headline changes it everywhere.
How does it adapt a square layout to a wide banner?
By rules, not guesswork. When the shape changes a lot, the elements are re-flowed — side by side in a wide banner, stacked in a tall one — in the order they read in the main size. When the shape is similar, each element keeps its place relative to the nearest edge. A background picture fills every size and keeps its focal point in view.
Can it make GIFs, videos or HTML5 ads?
Yes. Every size exports as PNG, JPG or WebP; as an animated GIF, optionally fitted under a file size by dropping colours before frames, never by changing the dimensions; as MP4 or WebM video where your browser can record it; and as an HTML5 ZIP with a clickTag, which the HTML5 Ad Inspector checks against the publisher you choose before you download it.
Can I make the same ad for several products?
Yes — make versions. A version shares every size's layout and swaps a layer's text or picture. Make them by hand, or import a spreadsheet with one row per version and columns named after your layers, then export every version in every size in one go.
